Qmart has been shut down in Feb 2013. All six stores shut down, as Qmart has never seen profitability in its 7 years of life. 2006-2013.

Major reasons were incompetent Purchase Team who kept their pockets full on the expense of company.

Second major reason for shut down was illogocal strategy of BACKWARD LOCATIONS. Qmart opened stores in areas that were un attractive for customers.

Third reason for Qmart shut down was poor pricing strategy. High prices and always short stock....
