JS Bank is a scheduled commercial bank that is one of the top 5 ranking banks in Pakistan. It is a major subsidiary of the Jahangir Siddiqui & Co. Ltd., an eminent Pakistani financial investment company. The JS bank started functioning in 2007 by acquiring the operations of the American Express Bank’s branches in Pakistan. To date, the bank has progressed from 4 branches and approx. 150 employees to 323 branches in 161 cities in Pakistan, employing more than 5000 in its workforce. It also has an international branch in Manama, Bahrain that was inaugurated in 2015. The headquarters of the JS bank is located in Karachi, where Mr. Basir Shamsie operates as the current President and the CEO of the JS Bank.
