Cockroach control can be tricky because there are two main types of roaches (American and German), and they are eliminated using different techniques. Even though they are from the same species, they require a different type of treatment because every type of cockroaches is different and has different needs. The smaller roaches are the German roach and the Brown Banded roach. The German roach is the most common of the smaller roaches. But its size does not mean that you can get rid of them easily. In fact, they are the most difficult to control and eliminate. Some of the larger types of cockroaches are the American, Australian, Smoky Brown, Oriental Roaches and Woods Roaches. The most common of the larger sized roach is the American roach. The treatment of the larger roaches is similar to one another. It is important to eliminate the roaches from your home as soon as possible because they are transmitters of some diseases. For example, they could be the transmitters of gastroenteritis including food poisoning, dysentery, and diarrhea.
