Internally, the machine grinds and brews with a silently integrated coffee grinder with 13 adjustable grind settings and a thermoblock boiler designed for temperature stability. The PrimaDonna boasts a 2 liter removable water reservoir with a water level indicator as well as a 250 gram bean hopper with a flavor preserving lid. You also have the option of brewing with pre-ground coffee by using the machine's bypass doser. The brew group is removable for easy cleaning and can hold between 7 and 14 grams of coffee, allowing you to make drinks of varying strength and personalized to your tastes. This also allows you brew up to 2 beverages at once.
Maintenance of the PrimmaDonna Deluxe is made easy thanks to the machine's numerous automatic alerts and functions. You can program your water hardness and take advantage of the automated rinse and descaling programs. You can also program your machine to turn on each morning at your preferred time. There is also an automatic shut-off feature defaults to trigger after 2 hours of inactivity, but this duration can be can also be set to 15 or 30 minutes, or 1, 2, or 3 hours.
