LGSF (Light Guage steel structure system)

About the product
Light Guage steel structure system LGSF, modern technology in most developed countries like USA, Canada, Australia and Japan are widely in use in some states, as the bulk of the construction by this method takes place. This technology has been used in Pakistan for several years as an affordable solution for rapid, light & sustainable construction.

With H.H Robertson’s Light Guage steel frame products, you can turn architectural inspiration into commercial reality much faster and more cost effectively than ever before for Small to Mid-Size Buildings.

The primary shapes used in construction are the C-shape stud and the U-shaped track, and a variety of other shapes. Framing members are generally produced in a thickness of 12 to 25 gauges.

Galvanized steel is the base material for light-gauge steel. Steel is then roll-formed into the final profiles used for framing. The sheets are zinc coated (galvanized) to prevent oxidation and corrosion. Steel framing provides excellent design flexibility due to the inherent strength of steel, which allows it to resist wind and earthquake loads.
Steel framing is inherently less energy efficient, Construction with steel framing contributes to thermal bridges between the outside environment and interior conditioned space.

Structural Frame:The wall frames, roof trusses and floor joists (if applicable) are pre-engineered and framed using cold formed steel sections, in a very short span of time.
