COURSE OBJECTIVES:

This course introduces students to the artistic and technical platform of video editing using Adobe Premiere and Video Animation using Adobe After Effects. The course starts with an overview of the software interface, basic editing tools, and roles of a video editor. Along with learning how to use the software, students will become familiar with editing styles and the post production work flow, through assignments and handouts provided during the course. Upon completion of the course, students will have the skill set to build successful and presentable sequences with video clips provided and exported to compressed video files for upload to various online mediums.
