ZIL was founded in 1954 with the goal of providing customers with high-quality skin care solutions. We opened our first factory in Hyderabad, Pakistan, and our soaps were an immediate success. As the demand for our products grew, so did our product portfolio. In 1980, we acquired Zulfeqar Industries Ltd. (a defunct factory established in 1960 to manufacture and market laundry and toilet soaps) and took on the name Zulfeqar Industries Ltd. Four years later, the company was converted from a private limited one to a public limited one and was listed on the Karachi and Lahore Stock Exchanges. From our humble beginnings, we have come a long way and continue to strive for excellence in the beauty industry.
