We are looking for an Assistant Tax Manager
  • To Prepare Monthly Tax Reports for Top Management.
  • To provide information/documents to tax consultants of Companies to handle cases in tax Department.
  • To attend all tax hearings with tax consultants in tax department tribunal, FTO, court etc.
  • To file Monthly sales tax return and generate all Reports as per requirement of tax laws.
  • To file Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Income Tax with returns of our group Companies.
  • Correspondence with Tax department related regarding tax related issues.
  • To process regular and deferred refunds of sales tax and income tax refunds.
  • To verify withholding tax deduction from suppliers and related parties payments.
  • To prepare advance income tax reports on monthly basis and to calculate expected income tax liability for the year.
  • To pass on day to day changes in tax laws relating to department of our Group Companies.
  • To prepare Monthly details of invoices which are cleared and against which payments may be released to the relevant supplier/party. sales tax department provides this monthly detail to A/c and Finance department to release payments.
  • To upload monthly form related to sales tax at their respective dates.
  • To Reconcile on monthly basis tax department record with accounts department record in respect to strong internal central regarding tax records.
  • To maintain complete record in soft and hard form related to sales tax return, income tax return, Excise duty, provincial sales tax etc..
  • To maintain complete records of invoice, bills, GDs, undertakings etc related to monthly sales tax return.
  • To maintain files of Advance tax challans with tax challans in soft and hard forms.
  • To maintain complete record of tax cases related to Tax department, tribunal, FTO, court etc.
  • To issue debit and credit notes to buyers and suppliers Invoices.
  • Collect all Income tax and sales Tax notices form FBR PRA SRB and from intelligence & investigation department, updates our record and forward to the consultant.
  • Contact with suppliers whenever required to collect the sales tax documents and to discuss tax related dues.
  • To check and verify Tax supporting documents and advice accounts departments where they need amendments .
  • Assist external auditors at the time of audit end of the year regarding Income Tax documents.
  • Meeting with concerned tax authority whenever required.
  • Work on special assignment given by M (F & A), CEO and Chairman.

Job Requirements:

  • ACCA Part Qualified/ACMA Part Qualified//M.COM/MBA/CA Part Qualified
  • Have a minimum of three years of experience, with a minimum of two years of tax specialization.
  • A university degree in business or accounting is necessary.
  • The Applicant must have leadership abilities with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • He/She must fully understand relevant tax legislation as well as corporate tax compliance and planning.
