Security in Pakistan is an important issue that needs to be addressed. The country is faced with a number of security threats, both internal and external. These include terrorism, insurgency, organized crime, cyber threats, and border management.

The security environment in Pakistan is complex and dynamic. The government has taken various initiatives to enhance security, including the establishment of the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA), the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) and the National Counter Terrorism Force (NCTF).
