LAKSON TOBACCO COMPANY LTD. - Islamabad

In 1971, the Lakson Tobacco Company was established in Pakistan, quickly becoming the country's second largest tobacco company. By 2006, it was estimated that the company had a 47% share of the cigarette market. Its shares are listed on the Karachi and Lahore stock exchanges. The company's primary activity is the production and sale of cigarettes, with Morven Gold and Diplomat forming its core brand range. Red & White and Marlboro, produced under license from PMI, are also part of the portfolio. Lakson Tobacco operates four cigarette manufacturing facilities in Pakistan.
